On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 6:32:57 PM EST, I imaged my 1st Venus image of 2024 from my Manorville NY Observatory. I did not have much time at all to image it because Venus was only at an altitude of 24° with the clouds moving in fast. Also Venus was now close to the West tree-line. My imaging configuration was the HD 14" telescope / Camera Apollo-M MAX USB3.0 Mono Camera IMX432 with the IR610 1.25" Filter on a Carl Zieas 2x Barrlow.
