Aurora photographed from southern England, UK at 2330 BST (2230 UT) 12 August 2024.
The photo is cropped and 'image levels' slightly adjusted.
From my light-polluted location in town I couldn't see the rays, I could only just make our a faint reddish tint to the sky.
