Details:
Tonight, I decided to drive a few miles away from the heavily light-polluted city of Kraków to watch the Perseids. Even though the geomagnetic storm sparked earlier today was subsiding, I was extremely surprised to see the aurora as well! I must say it's very unusual for the Northern Lights to appear at such a low geomagnetic latitude when a storm is at a modest level of G2. The combination of aurora and shooting stars was simply magical.
