These Aurora were seen with the Naked Eye. A Strong glow, Even in the presence of a lot of light pollution, dictating clearly where to point the camera. This is Victoria, Australia and this would Usually only be seen during kp8 G4 storm events. What a rare delight. We are 1hr 31mins from the Southern edge of mainland Australia. And This display was even stronger than the 11th of May at Sandy Point, Victoria. I managed to capture a couple of photos of the Southern Cross with the Aurora... These Photos taken with Samsung S24 are the best ones.
