Details:
I first spotted a faint red glow on my phone camera screen & it got gradually brighter and moved more overhead. It was a dim red glow visible to the naked eye, with faint pillar streaks. Beautiful! This is a very light polluted area so seeing anything at all was incredible. These images were taken with an iPhone 12 with a 3 second exposure under Bortle 7 skies.
