Details:
Brief display of auroral activity around 2 am local time (8 UTC). The Aurora app said Kp = 4, which isn't usually enough to see the lights here in western Colorado at 38.87 N, but the GOES magnetometer was spiking, and sure enough there was a soft pink glow when I pointed my camera to the north. It only lasted 15 or 20 minutes then was gone. Nikon D750 @ 15 sec, iso 6400
