Details:
It's a surprise that I can witness the aurora at the Yumen pass, Dunhuang, China at latitude 40 degrees north. The red northern light caused by the G3-class geomagnetic storm is strong enough to see by my naked eye without colors, but well photographed by the cameras. The view is captured at the Yumen Pass, a world heritage at as the Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor. Yumen Pass is a pass of the Great Wall located west of Dunhuang and During the Han dynasty (202 BC – AD 220), this was a pass through which the Silk Road passed, and was the one road connecting Central Asia with East Asia. I like the view with the red aurora shine though the door on the wall. It travel though the time of 2000 years.
