Details:
The occultation of Saturn by the Moon occurred during the twilight hours of the morning on July 25th. The sky in Hong Kong was cloudy, which reduced the chances of successful observation. However, we were able to observe Saturn disappearing behind the Moon from 04:50-05:55 HKT (UTC+8). In addition to recording the event on video, we also had the opportunity to view it directly through a telescope's eyepiece, patiently waiting for Saturn to reappear, even as the sun had already risen at 05:52 AM. Thanks Mr. CHU Ching-tin, Mr. TSANG Chin-Kwan, Mr. HUI Ho-keung Kenneith, Ms. SUN Ka-man for the effort.
