Details:
On Sunday 7th July, the young 2.6% illuminated Waxing Crescent Moon and Mercury were recorded descending and setting in another Volcanic Sunset near Transmitter Hill to the WNW of Mutare. In these pictures and time-lapse animations, produced from sequences of long exposure images taken between 5.54 and 6.27 pm, strong Earthshine is visible on the dark portions of the Moon and Mercury shines bright above. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
