Details:
Another cracking display of noctilucent clouds last night, maybe not as widespread as Wednesday night (which I missed due to cloud cover), but still very bright with some intricate structures. It started very early with a patch of cloud extending overhead around an hour after sunset, but this soon faded with the twilight, by which time there were just a few wisps on the northern horizon. It clouded over for a while after that but as this cleared the noctilucent cloud returned, feeding in from the northeast to cover most of the northern horizon to around 30 degrees, before the twilight returned.
