The biggest NLC display so far this season... 🙂 A late and strong echo on the OSWIN mesosphere radar in Kühlungsborn and perfect wind direction in the mesosphere certainly promised great NLCs... A trip to the Landberg and you were not disappointed in the still bright twilight! Already in the west at azimuth 270° (!) you could make out delicate lines of ice clouds 83 km away! The more the sun setting, the more clearly the clouds appeared. Not the brightest, but certainly the biggest of its kind... 🙂. Later, contrary to the forecast, clouds from the troposphere moved in again and ended the spectacle... Lots of structures, waves, lines… 🙂 Canon EOS 6D Mark I + Sigma Art 1.4/24 mm (F4.5), ISO 200, 3.2s exposure, 22:42 MESZ (CEST)
