Details:
The sky was clear, the air was hot, humid, and still....and the jet stream was way up near the Canadian border. This is just what a solar imager likes, as the seeing conditions this morning were very good! Here are two 102mm f/7 spectroheliograms. One is h-alpha, and the other is calcium-H. The triumvirate of active sunspots is approaching the solar limb with not much activity behind it. ASI183mm camera. Make sure and look at the images in full resolution on a large monitor and pan around to see all the detail. Effective bandpass about 0.1 Angstrom.
