Details:
On Tuesday 18th June there was another colorful volcanic sunset which this time illuminated multi- banded smoke haze close to the horizon which had been generated by late afternoon burning of vegetation on the far side of Transmitter Hill. Almost calm atmospheric conditions allowed the multi-banded smoke haze to maintain its integrity for a considerable distance as it drifted slowly to the south from its source. The later scenes are enhanced by reflections from security lighting on my house and blue poolside LED’s. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
