Details:
Andromeda rises in the Northeast this time of year for upstate New York. For this shot I combined 18 minutes of tracked exposures of Andromeda (60 minutes after it was aligned), with a 5 minute untracked exposure of Overlook Mountain in the Catskills. The sky was calibrated with Darks, Flats, and Bias frames; stacked in DeepSkyStacker, processed in Pixinsight, and recombined with the foreground using Photoshop and edited in Lightroom.
