The location of potential nova T CrB is shown by the green tick marks. The gray square surrounding it marks the one-degree-square FOV shown in the AAVSO visual comparison-star chart posted by Odd Trondal a few days back, including the cardinal directions, since the photo's orientation may be misleading. (I was testing a lens, not checking for the star's outburst.)

By the way, any clouds you might glimpse in the photo--they're not really there, according to the weather forecast that called for clear skies all night.
