Comet 12P Pons-Brooks on 2024 June 7 at 09:00UT. Using a C11 RASA f/2.2 + Canon 6D. iso3200 20x30sec. FOV 3 deg. North right. from Swan Hill, Victoria, Aus. Earth has now crossed the orbital plane of the comet. What we see here is dust released from the comet over its lifetime, aligned on-edge, allowing us to see it as a thin line. Total length measured at least 7 degrees in PA 338.
