Details:
From about 6:00 UT recorded faint loops for an animation in H-alpha light. From about 6:35 UT, one region became brighter and brighter - a sign of possible intense activity. I was not prepared for what happened next: in the next half hour I saw an explosion like never before in my 40 years of observing the sun! So fast, so far out into space! Gigantic! I couldn't keep up with the recordings, everything developed so quickly. Still "behind the sun" exploded an X2 flare of the continuing active zone AR3664.
