Details:
The aurora was widespread across the sky but mostly quite faint before midnight on May 10. Just after midnight on May 11, the aurora got much brighter and more active, and greens and reds could be detected with the naked eye. The first image over the Bridger Mountains is a 30-second exposure using an 18mm lens before midnight, the other two are 15-second exposures after midnight with the same lens from my backyard. Lovely display!
