Details:
Asteroid 2 Pallas was discovered 222 years ago. Now it is at position 2000: 16h 26m 16s Dec: +26°10'
which is 47° from the ecliptic. The high orbital inclination makes
it a big challenge to send spacecrafts to visit.
Discovered on March 28 1802, by Heinrich Wilhelm Matthias Olbers

The Hubble image show that it has a non-spherical shape, even its mean-diameter is more than

Olbers also discovered the asteroid Vesta and comet 13P/Olbers which has been nice lately.
