Details:
Despite having clouds completely hampering the historic Northern Lights display in Southeastern Pennsylvania this weekend, skies cleared just enough on Saturday morning, May 11, to catch a quick image of the Sun in Hydrogen Alpha. AR3664 was quickly approaching the solar rim but was still quite impressive. There were some very amazing prominences on the solar rim as well! I used a Lunt 40 (w/B1200 blocking filter) and a ZWO asi178mm camera.
