Details:
As soon as true darkness fell about 9:15 pm local time, went outside and could immediately tell the sky had a red hue. What was deceiving was it was in every direction. Camera in night mode definitely picked up the red and green colors. Headed north out of town and then streaks, reds, greens were all clearly visible to the naked eye but really popped on even a four second exposure. Streaks overhead and largely to the north appeared and disappeared for a half hour. "Clouds" appeared and dissipated. Absolutely remarkable night. We don't get these shows that often in Kansas.
