Details:
These photos of the Aurora Australis were taken on Saturday night (11/5/2024) between 7pm and 9pm in Bass, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Visually you could see the whole southern sky light up like twilight, with vertical streamers appearing and disappearing within seconds. Colour was not as obvious as the photos, as human vision can't capture dim light as colour. Overall there were over 700 photos taken, most will be used to make a timelapse of the event. Canon 80D 18mm f4.5 ISO1600 8sec
