Details:
Was filming a timelapse in western South Dakota and captured a bolide with persistent smoke trail. Impressive vertical wind speed shear caused a segment of smoke trail to move away from rest of trail at a rapid pace consistent with airglow rate of travel. Sony A1, 20mm, f/2, ISO6400, 20 sec
