Details:
On 29th April, there was a strong Volcanic Sunset which was followed by an unusually luminous late Volcanic Sunset Twilight Arch which was visible due to very clear atmospheric conditions and reflections of last rays of distant sunlight from a concentration of lingering volcanic aerosols in the upper stratosphere. This enabled the accompanying beautiful time exposures to be taken which show bright glow and many stars which would at that time of evening normally have been surrounded by almost completely dark sky. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in night scenery mode.
