Details:
Viewed from a hilltop beside the Highest Point of Cuyahoga. That’s the county of Cleveland, OH where we watched the eclipse from in Broadview Heights. Photo made during Totality imaged with a Nikon Z6, Nikon TC1.6 on an AstroTech 72EDII using an iOptron SkyHunter Mount in AltAz Mode. ISO 250 for 1/250th sec. Second Photo: After getting home and going through all the photos from the Eclipse, I remembered making a sequence of images on a second camera (not the one with the telescope), taking a photo every 8 minutes during the partial eclipse phases leading up to and exiting totality. But in all the excitement, concentrating more on the telescope camera, I forgot to get a wide angle shot during totality. THANKFULLY friend Lorri who was with us viewing got a perfect shot during totality. So I assembled all my timed sequence shots along the path the sun took that day. Then placed them over Lorri’s shot during totality becoming my favorite photo from the day born from collaboration. Notice Venus shining to the lower right of the totality shot.
