Details:
A very clear sky in northern Arkansas allowed me to capture the intricate details and the huge extent of the corona during the total solar eclipse of April 8. The corona in that moment had a very asymmetric shape with lots of filaments, most of them clearly visible even with the naked eye. It was an amazing view! This image is and HDR composition of more than 200 exposures taken with an astronomical camera (ASI 2600MC) at the prime focus of an apocromatic refractor 60-360 mm.
