Monday, April 8, 2024. Partial solar eclipse composite image looking southwest as seen from a water tower 4.4 miles east of Mount Union, Iowa in Henry County (41°2'58.523998" N 91°18'15.084000" W.) Time captures of the sun are from left: 12:36 pm, 12:50 pm, 1:05 pm, 1:23 pm, 1:42 pm, 2:02 pm, 2:10 pm, 2:20 pm, 2:39, 2:58 pm, 3:09 pm, 3:20 pm. Each capture is a 1/2000 second exposure at f/8, ISO 100, 70mm focal length. Nikon Z6ii camera with Neewer 72mm HD ND 100000 solar filter. Maximum eclipse percentage here was 89.7 %.
