The HamSCI (www.hamsci.org) Personal Space Weather Station Network's Grape stations measure Doppler shift in the carrier signal of time standard stations including NIST's WWV and WWVH. On Monday, the network saw a a distinct S-curve signature associated with the eclipse in the frequency plots, more pronounced than a similar signature associated with the annular eclipse in October 2023. This signature replicates in miniature the diel (day/night) pattern of Doppler shift, as the virtual height of the ionosphere varies with photoionization.
