Details:
The eclipse viewing was planned in Kerrville, Texas. Thanks to the Zoom Earth app, we decided to change our plans at the last minute. 2h30 drive towards Killeen, above Austin because the latter announced partly cloudy skies. We had a scare at the moment of first contact where a cloud obscured the Sun for more than a minute. Once passed, even the high altitude clouds parted to offer us a marvelous celestial spectacle. A magnificent eclipse almost equal to the emotions experienced in Bliesbruck in 1999. Here is a first draft, initially sent from Houston. We even see a good number of stars in the background.
