Details:
We observed the comet C2021/S3 in 3 SDSS filters: g (30 sec), r (30 sec) and i (30 sec), to create the RGB image using the Himalayan Faint Object Spectrograph and Camera (HFOSC) mounted on the 2.0-m Himalyan Chandra Telescope (HCT) of the Indian Astronomical Observatory (IAO), located at 4500 m above sea level. HFOSC is equipped with a 2Kx2K pixel Thompson CCD with a pixel scale of 0.296′′/pix, equivalent to a total field of view (FOV) of 10′×10′.
