Comet 144P/Kushida imaged on February 29, 2024, over the Milky Way between the constellations of Taurus and Orion. As it moves away, its brightness has decreased to magnitude 10.2 with a gas coma of 8.5' in angular size slightly condensed, and a small trace of an ionic tail which is observed within the coma towards the east (left).
