Details:
There was a fat gibbous Moon, and the only clouds in the sky were low in the west drifting over the comet (at 15° altitude) so many subs got dropped; still, what remained turned out better than expected. I was able to spot the comet in 7x35 binoculars and tell it was fuzzy.
