Details:
Here is the first image from my new homemade spectroheliograph. It is made from an Explore Scientific 102mm f/7 scope, 2 Pentax camera lenses made in the 1960's, a Thorlabs diffraction grating, a custom slit, and an ASI183mm camera.....all mounted on a 31-inch ADM dovetail plate. Reduced to 65% of original size. The seeing today was not good.....but I had to try it out!
