Details:
The large sunspot AR3590 is about to bid us farewell after giving us quite a show, not only due to its size but also due to its intense activity. From the city where I live, the weather didn't help at all; most days, the sky was completely covered by clouds. However, around midday today, just before it started to rain, the sky cleared up, and I quickly set up my equipment on the wet lawn of my backyard. Despite the high turbulence, after much persistence, I managed to capture this image of the imposing sunspot. The result is not as good as I would have liked, but it still stands as an excellent record of this remarkable solar phenomenon. Now we just have to wait for the next big sunspot that this solar cycle will bring us.
