Details:
When the Moon reaches its maximal northernmost point in the sky it can cross over into Auriga. The photo shows it as it is entering the non-Zodiac constellation. From St. George the Moon's disk can never be fully contained inside, but apparently near to and south of the equator it can be. In the closeups some asterisms are marked in green to facilitate comparing the photo to the map. The photo was taken at 9:30pm while the map's position is for 9:52pm (= 22 minutes later, when the center of the Moon crossed the boundary line between Taurus and Auriga). I raced to get the photo before clouds covered the sky; their arrival was expected, but at 2 in the morning, not 9:30 that evening.
