800mm handheld at 1/8 sec. ? . driving home I saw the thin crescent Moon with Earthshine. I had my 800mm lens with me in my car but it's the cheaper RF 800mm at only f/11 , so normally I would use a tripod for this , but as the Moon was soon to be hidden by clouds I thought I had no time to set up my tripod, so I thought, let's push the limits, let's just try ! Shot it handheld at ISO 51200 , f/11 , with a shutter speed of 1/8 second. 1/8th of a second for a 800mm lens, that is pretty amazing. Lens has Image Stabilisation but my camera, Canon EOS R8, does not have IBIS in-body image stabilisation... So I'm pretty pleased with the result. shot in RAW and just very slight edit, denoise in DPP4.
