Details:
Lunar Occultation of Antares.
Last night, the 5th magnitude star Antares slowly moved behind the moon (of course, from our perspective). Such hiding of celestial bodies behind another celestial body is known as occultation. In an occultation, one body disappears from one side, and reappears from the other side.
This image captures the final moment of disappearance at 5:02 AM.
