Details:
Our star has once again surprised us, this time with solar spot AR3959, which in the early hours of this Monday unleashed a significant M6.8-class eruption. Despite the fact that this spot was already leaving the solar disk, it decided to bid farewell in grand style, leaving us with an incredible loop-shaped prominence that was still visible many hours after the eruption. These magnificent plasma threads rose to over 100,000 km in height. Despite the significant atmospheric turbulence, which greatly hindered image acquisition, I managed to capture this spectacular event by combining two different solar telescopes.
