The sun today looked very different in h-alpha compared to yesterday. Two large filaments that stood out prominently in yesterday's spectroheliogram had decided they did not want to be associated with the sun anymore! So they snapped, flew away, and generated CME's (as shown on Spaceweather). I attached today's image plus yesterday's again for comparison. Spectroheliograms really show filaments in high contrast. 80mm f/5 stopped to 70mm, Sol'Ex SHG, ASI178mm camera.
