Details:
Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks on December 10, 2023. The expanding layer corresponding to the outburst on November 30 is clearly observed, along with another fainter outer layer corresponding to the previous outburst on November 14. In the image, an ion tail extending about 13 arcminutes to the northeast can be seen emanating from the false nucleus.
