Just after the Geminid meteor appeared, a power grid transformer exploded and caused the power to go out in my area, but just for about a minute or so. The power grid here in Puerto Rico has been crippled ever since Hurricane Maria, so we have to adapt to these types of events by going solar and using generators. I would have had color footage of the event but the power outage corrupted the SSD drive in my Ninja V recorder, but good thing my Watec cameras are connected to battery back-ups. I now have the Sony A7s camera and the Ninja v recorder connected to my solar battery to avoid this mishap from happening again. I also included the waveform of the electronic signature to show the impressive looking harmonics that was generated after the explosion, which was pointed out to me by Jonathan Rizzo, who runs a VLF station in Pennslyvania (VLF44 Spring Brook Township).
