Details:
The annual Geminid meteor shower peaks next week with great circumstances as the Moon will not disturb the show in places with dark skies. The last time I was lucky for moonless Geminids and a clear sky, was in 2018. I finished some new images from old data of that maximum, showing the peak of Geminids over Seč Lake, Czech Republic, with its natural reservation, Seč Island. It was a beautiful view as nature was just covered by fresh snow. Just in case some of the images can inspire the observers of the upcoming moonless Geminids, attached are some of the views. More can be found on my website. Used Canon 6D IR Baader modified, Saymang 24 mm, f2.2, ISO 10000 (foreground panorama) and Samyang 12 mm, f2.8, ISO 10000 (meteors). Meteors were registered to the foreground image. Enjoy this year's Geminids!
