Holiday decor on Earth and Space. The latest batch of 22 STARLINK satellites G6-31 launched the evening before passed south of Cody Wyoming USA just after dusk on December 3 in a fairly bright appearance with the satellites still tightly grouped. They appeared above my landlord's rooftop briefly, between two layers of clouds visible for only 15 seconds, enhanced by the outdoor holiday lights. My black cat Sigg agreed to pose while I got off a few quick shots. Nikon D5300 dslr with ancient manual focus 24mm Nikkor lens ( eq. focal length = 35mm ). Exposure was 1 sec. at f/2.8 at ISO 4000. Image was post-processed in Lemkesoft GraphicConverter to correct mixed color lighting to the extent possible.
