Details:
On November 30 the CME that was related to M9.9 arrived at earth giving North America a show before sunrise. I missed that so when I saw a G3 watch was out for last night 12/01/2023 I took my shot and drove all the way to Kansas into clear skies as most of the US was still under clouds from a weather system. I got to my spot a place I've been dreaming of shooting the aurora with some time now and as I set my camera up there was a couple of clouds still hanging on. As those moved out bright red pillars showed up moments later and even had a bright purple hue on the top of the red pillars. This is a very old school house in the Flint Hill of Kansas.
