A super bright fireball over the English Channel coast This morning, an extremely beautiful bolide from the November Orionid meteor shower (NOO) appeared over southern England. Its brightness far exceeded that of the brightest planet Venus. It can be estimated at -8 magnitude. The moon, which was just 3 days after full and illuminated the upper part of the frame, had a brightness of -12. This year, the maximum activity of this swarm occurred on November 28. However, you will still be able to see them until December 6.
