Around 19.30 UT a friend sent us an alert about the visibility of an unusual Northern Lights from Italy. Unfortunately we couldn't see the aurora naked-eye from home, but the camera managed to record it.
Canon EOS 1100D resting on the windowsill of the terrace at home, first pic 18mm f/3.5 and exposure time of 8 seconds; second pic 35mm f/4.5 and 10 seconds, again at 1600 ISO.
