Details:
I was at the Chittenden Reservoir in Vermont with at least a 200° view of the night sky to shoot the aurora. As I was taking a series of images to stitch into a panorama, I noticed the red band of the SAR Arc off to both my left and my right. I shot to include the farthest points west and east that I could see and my resulting panorama shows the aurora framed by both ends of the SAR Arc (and the Milky Way). (8 vertical images of 15 seconds each at f/3.2, 11mm, ISO 2000).
