This display lasted only about 15-20 minutes although their was a diffuse glow in the Northern sky for much longer...I thought that it was really going to tune up but it subsided fairly quickly as the mainly red aurora moved off to the Northeast. The red was intense enough that it was easily visible to the dark-adapted naked eye. I had mostly clear skies here in Northern Missouri with some haze and fog. Temperature was around freezing. Nikon D750 with 14mm f/2.8 Lens ISO 800 and 15-second Exposure
