Details:
A curious transient dark spot is in evidence just S of AR3472. From GONG archive images, it appeared at around 10:40 UT and had disappeared by 11:10. It then re-appears at around 12:00 UT, vanishing again by 12:10. It therefore behaves like a flare, but is dark.
