Details:
Honestly I was highly surprised on seeing it that far south with the naked eye. That would suggest that we had low end G4 event that unfolded on the sub storm that took place Friday night around 2 am. What made this even cooler was that you could see the green glow on the ground here in Missouri. That is wild for this far south! This is my 8th time seeing just in Missouri alone and this was probably the best in just this state!
For the camera I was using a Canon R5 with a RF50mm prime. Shutter speed was 15 seconds, Aperture was 1.2 with a ISO 1000. My Iphone 14 also caught it which is sort of rare this far south.
